The smooth tunes from a Grammy-winning saxophonist were probably not what customers on a US Delta flight from Tampa to San Francisco were expecting.
But Kenny G put on an impromptu concert after hearing that one of the flight crew was raising money for charity after the loss of her daughter to cancer.
The musician said he would play his saxophone to his fellow passengers if they donated $1000 to the Relay for Life charity. In the end they raised $2000.
At least this time no-one was dragged off the plane, or hit by a baby stroller after a recent run of bad flight stories in the US.
